The first blogging attempt I ever made was for a newsletter called Proof of Concept, which is a business term used to provide evidence of why an idea will work. Conceptually it is a great idea to have a proof of concept, but when you have big ideas like I often do, it often feels like a road to nowhere.

My next attempt was as a guest blogger for THE WRAP with an entry entitled, "Awards Are Nice, Checks are Better". I received wonderful feedback and felt very brave. The publishing allowed me to be confident enough to finish my book (stay turned!) and go through COVID zoom on mute.

It is interesting that using my voice in a loud space gave me the confidence to stop speaking, and listen...long enough to accept that I know what I’m doing.

There is a lot of exciting news to come: projects, investments, thoughts and rabbit holes.

I am a curious mind, and am excited to share all my discoveries with you!

 

This month I’ll be setting the groundwork for all the interesting work we’ve been incubating over the last two years. I could tell you myself, but it would spoil the fun! If you want a sneak peek, start with these recommendations:

  1. DIY: Spring Hot Toddy - A new instant self accomplishment I’ve been doing for years and lasts forever.



Spring Hot Toddy Recipe:

  • 1 ½ oz local honey infused vodka (purchase block of local honey comb and place into infuser jar overnight with two bottles of “any vodka will do” )

  • 1 cup hot water

  • 1/4 of a fresh squeezed lemon

  • Garnish with a sprig of rosemary or cinnamon stick per preference.
